I used to write all kinds of things growing up, from short stories, to lyrics and such, but when I was in high school, I didn't really have a lot of time for reading, never really managing to find the right genre of book for me, until I stumbled upon one book that I borrowed from the library and fell in love with it. Even now I remember small snippets of that book (many years later) but I can't remember what it was called or who it was by. In college again my time for reading fizzled out. It was only when I went to University that I started reading properly, finding several books I really enjoyed, and even more when I began working in a retail bookstore upon leaving my studies. A customer of ours at the time introducing me to a new author and the Paranormal Romance genre. Since then I've been hooked, often devouring a book in a day or two, making my way through entire series in a week, before starting the next one. When the stories kept running out, leaving me wanting more, or with questions, I decided to write my own. It was a long process of drafts and editing but eventually I got there with help from some lovely people, and the support of my family. And now that I've begun on this path, I don't ever want to leave it. I love writing and I love sharing my stories with others, hoping they enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them. The biggest motivations for me aside from my family and friends that have cheered me on and supported me, is the help and aid from an online community group I found myself a part of. Without their help and guidance, I'm not sure I'd have ever made it this far. But before all of that, before I even began to write, those that motivated me were other authors and their incredible work. One in particular who always responded kindly to any mail she received, sharing a website with me that would help me get the feedback I was looking for, all leading to the group I found myself a member of even now. More about me.... When I'm not writing, or working a day job to keep us going, I'm reading, watching shows on Netflix, or enjoying some family time with my beautiful daughter and husband. I love to draw and design pieces that I also sell on my Redbubble page. I enjoy playing games with my family and friends, from online pc or ps4 games, to the classic board games.
