Lois McMaster Bujold

Born in 1949 to an engineering professor at Ohio State University, Lois McMaster Bujold inherited her early fascination with science fiction from her father. Currently residing in Minneapolis, she is a mother of two grown children. Bujold's acclaimed fantasy works from HarperCollins include the award-winning Chalion series and the Sharing Knife tetralogy. Additionally, her science fiction novels from Baen Books feature the enduringly popular Vorkosigan Saga. Her literary contributions have been translated into more than twenty languages, attesting to their global appeal.
