Robin Alvarez

Robin Alvarez, a self-proclaimed beach bum, currently resides in the desert alongside her husband and two children. Her professional journey has been diverse, having worked in various fields including news stations, television commercial production, high-end wedding video editing, industrial animation creation, photography, painting, and teaching English. As life took a new turn with the arrival of her children, Robin transitioned to working from home, teaching English to Chinese students through online platforms. Furthermore, she pursued her passion for writing by completing her master's degree in creative writing. Robin's literary endeavors have seen her co-editing the esteemed literary magazine, The Sage, where her own short stories have found publication. Additionally, she has contributed to The Bend Business, while also holding a position at Sul Ross University. During her leisure time, Robin finds joy in creating TikTok videos, indulging in K-dramas while pampering herself with face masks, enthusiastically partaking in karaoke (despite her lack of vocal prowess), designing costumes for her children, and engaging in swimming adventures with her family.
