March Reading Wrap-Up—What I Read This Month

I’m a mood reader. Unless I have an ARC scheduled for review, I do not know what I’ll read in a given month. I’ve tried planning, but let’s be honest, when the mood strikes, plans go out the window. That doesn’t stop me from doing wrap-ups, though! And since I received a new Kindle on my birthday at the beginning of the month, I may have gone a little overboard and read twelve books. 

So, here’s what I read in March. I’m listing them in the order I read them, with links to their reviews where available. If there’s no link yet, that just means I haven’t gotten around to writing the review, but I will, and I’ll update this post when it’s live!  

Quicksilver by Callie Hart

Enemies-to-lovers? Check. Witty dialogue? Check. Action and sizzling romance? Double check. If you love fast-paced romance with plenty of tension, this one delivers.

Death and Sweet Temptations by Kristen Coar

A talking, cooking corgi named Argo. Do I need to say more? This book was an unexpected delight, and Argo completely stole the show.  

Escape by L.S. O’Dea

Dark, intense, and full of secrets. This YA dystopian fantasy has a gripping class system, high-stakes survival, and characters that keep you hooked.  

Captured by Erica Stevens

Vampires, blood slaves, and a dangerous game of survival. Aria knows her fate is sealed until Braith claims her. But is he her captor, or her only chance at escape?  

Curses & Charms by Barb Hopkins

Two best friends, an archaeology obsession, and an adventure they never saw coming. This one blends mystery, magic, and academia in the best way.  

When the Mask Slips by Iris Kayan

Urban fantasy meets cyberpunk. If you’re looking for something different, this book delivers a fresh take with magic, tech, and a world that feels entirely unique. 

Stake-Out: An Urban Fantasy Romance by Lily Luchesi

A tough-as-nails detective, bloodthirsty vampires, and a world where not all monsters are created equal. Action-packed and full of surprises.  

The Librarian by Judith A. Barrett

A librarian who has always dreamed of becoming a spy? Yes, please! This book plays with espionage in a way that’s both fun and engaging.  Since this isn't a fantasy novel, I only reviewed it on Goodreads.

Fiendish Delights by Helen Harper

Magic, dragons, vampires, and brownies—what’s not to love? A fantastic addition to the series, with plenty of supernatural chaos.  

Skullduggery by Helen Harper

The adventure continues! More witty urban fantasy, more supernatural threats, and even bigger personal challenges for our heroine.  

Waifs and Strays by Helen Harper

Best cat lady ever. When a teenage werewolf shows up at her door looking for a place to stay, chaos ensues.  

Bitten Shifter by Brogan Thomas

Middle-aged IT professional Lark Emerson is ready for a fresh start—until her new job near a shifter community turns dangerous. A unique take on the shifter genre!
