A Court Of Mist And Fury by Sarah J. Maas – Book Review
Having loved A Court of Thorns and Roses so much, I immediately delved into the sequel, A Court of Mist and Fury, and I enjoyed it just as much, which explains the 4.5-star rating.

Knightmare Arcanist by Shami Stovall – Book Review
The threat in this story is a plague that affects mythical creatures and corrupts their magic driving them crazy. The arcanists must figure out where this disease comes from and how to stop it. And if that isn’t enough, they also have to fight pirates.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas - Book Review
From the beginning, it gave me Beauty and the Beast vibes, but that soon ebbed the more I read. I’m not even sure I can call this a retelling because aside from the premises and the curse, they don’t have much in common. The plot of A court of Thorns and Roses is much more intricate, with a wide array of complex characters and unexpected events.

Crossing in Time by D.L. Orton – Book Review
The Earth is in danger and humanity is circling down the drain due to many things including a virus (not Covid-19, but something Ebola-like that kills across species), and the main character, Isabel, who is a geneticist must go back in time to rescue her failed relationship because it’s the only thing that can save the world.

Promises Forged takes place entirely on Eon, an alternative dimension where all the mythological creatures imagined on Earth are real. Gray ends up in the one place he shouldn’t have.

Behind Blue Eyes by Anna Mocikat - Book Review
I had a John Wick moment right at the beginning of the book, you’ll know when you read it. But once you get accustomed to the bleak dystopian world, the action will suck you in completely.
